As part of the Educational Reform Act of 1993, and to enhance parent involvement at the local level, each school is required to form a School Council. The purpose of the Council is to build a foundation for more participatory decision making among educators, parents and community representatives.
School Council members assist the principal with the implementation of the School Improvement Plan. The goals and objectives included in the School Improvement Plan reflect the educational needs of the student at Heritage School.
The School Council meets once a month. All meetings will be held virtually this year.
