John F. Canavan Library at Shepherd Hill Regional High School
Our mission is to provide our patrons with the research materials they need to succeed academically while providing titles to assist with their emotional and social growth in a setting that is welcoming and safe for all students, staff, and faculty.
Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
There are over 30,000 books, periodicals, and videos available to the students, faculty, and staff at Shepherd Hill. We have 16 desktop computers, 30 laptops, and access to nearly 60 educational databases.
Seven honors directed studies meet in the library each day, as well as students from three to five directed studies per period. In addition, the library is open for collaborations with classroom teachers requiring information literacy instruction, research, and/or book selection.

To access the databases from home, a Massachusetts public library card number is required. Please visit your public library if you do not have a card; it's very easy to get one! You can also access these databases from any public library in Massachusetts.
