Message from the Principal
DMS Principal: Christopher Starczewski
August 4, 2017
Dear DMS Families,
It is a joy to be writing this letter of introduction to you as the Principal of Dudley Middle School. Through my connections to the school as a parent and my short time officially in the role, it is exceptionally clear that DMS is a special school that has a tremendous legacy. I am honored and humbled to be a part of this learning community.
We will get to know one another well over the next school year; however, please allow me to share a bit about myself. I began my career in education in 1994 and have held roles of classroom teacher, department head, assistant principal and principal in private and public school systems. Most recently, I was principal of Tantasqua Regional Junior High School for six years.
As principal, it is exceptionally important for me to know that all who enter our building are energized and excited to be here. It is also important that members of our learning community are all respectful & civil, take responsibility for actions and tasks, engage in all aspects of our school, have involvement in their learning, and are focused on results.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, concerns, or ideas you would like to share. I am eager to begin my journey with our students on Tuesday, August 29, 2017. As always, information regarding the start of school and general reminders will be posted on the school website, Facebook, and via Twitter (follow me: @DMS_LeadLearner). If there is anything we can assist you with, please do not hesitate to reach out to me or a member of the team.
