Communication with the Public
It is the desire of the school committee that two-way channels of communication be kept open at all times between the school district, and the people of the school district. The school committee’s responsibility is to create and maintain schools that provide the best education possible. It will do its best to keep the people informed of the affairs of the school system via the district website.
To ensure open communication, the school committee chair welcomes comments through the webpage.

School Sponsored Releases
Materials for system-wide distribution are developed in the central office and carry the approval of the superintendent.

Community Information Sent Home With Students
In addition to notices in relation to school events which are sent home with the student, the committee permits students to bring home informational notices prepared by non-profit community organizations. Such notices shall be approved in advance by the superintendent of schools.
Notice requests must be submitted 14 days prior to distribution.
